🐀 RATS IN YOUR PROPERTY? THE PROBLEM COULD BE UNDERGROUND! 📹

Did you know that damaged or defective drainage systems are one of the common ways rats gain access to properties?

At Ringwood Pest Control, we don’t just treat the problem — we investigate where the rats are coming from to help prevent them returning.

Using our specialist CCTV drain survey equipment, we can inspect underground drainage systems to identify:

🐀 Potential rat entry points

🔍 Cracked, broken or displaced pipework

🚰 Defective drainage connections

🛠️ Areas requiring repairs or rat prevention measures

Once we’ve identified the issue, we can recommend and carry out the necessary repairs to help stop rats gaining access to your property.

Wouldn’t recommend trying this one at home… 😳🐝

This is the activity after treating a seriously busy ground wasp nest.

With this many wasps coming and going, disturbing a nest like this can quickly result in multiple stings - especially when the nest is hidden underground and you can’t see what you’re dealing with.

Sometimes it’s best left to the professionals!

When a wasp nest starts causing trouble in Ringwood… RPC gets the call 📞🐝

After reports of members of the public being stung, Ringwood Town Council contacted us to deal with this very active ground nest.

Thousands of wasps, one treatment, job done. 👍

When rats get out of the drains… 🐀

At this property, holes were appearing around the manhole and the block-paved driveway had started to sink and collapse.

Once opened up, the problem became clear - rats had damaged the bottom of the drainage chamber and were burrowing out into the surrounding ground, undermining the driveway above.

The damaged chamber was replaced, the ground and block paving reinstated, and a stainless-steel non-return rat flap installed to help prevent rats travelling back up from the main sewer.

Find the source. Fix the problem. Prevent it happening again. ✅
