Archaeological and Commercial Geophysical Surveys
SubScan is a family-run geophysical company, mainly working in archaeology and on building sites; able to conduct geophysical surveys on most types of urban and rural sites inclusive of smaller garden and inner city environments. Our techniques include; Magentometry, Resistivity and Electromagnetics. These methods will identify archaeological featu
res, such as ditches, foundations, pits and banks etc. Utilizing our new (and patented) surveying device, SubScan is able to cover 60% more land than any other commercial or voluntary organisation, making our solutions for non-invasive research timely and cost effective. Our surveys pinpoint all anomalies to within inches and can also prevent unnecessary accidental damage to underground installation and services on archaeological sites. We can be employed to monitor and report plough erosion on important sensitive sites on an occasional or calendared inspection basis. SubScan also offers full site surveying and levels service.
