We saw out May with another great meeting yesterday 🤩

Kataleah Cattle was officially welcomed to the chapter, taking the seat over from her dad, on behalf of Contemporary Catering Norfolk

Paul Harrod presented the education slot, reminding everyone that 'You don't know, who you know, knows'
As business owners we should keep talking about what we do as opportunities are often sitting within our existing networks, client bases, friend and acquaintences. Great education slot, thanks Paul 🌟

Our first aid trainer Sue Dewing from SG Training Services also gave us a timely reminder in her 45 seconds about keeping hydrated during hot weather and ensuring we don't leave ourselves open to heat stroke and sun stroke 🥤

The winner of the best 45 seconds, however, was James Knapman who themed his 45 seconds around his new very short haircut ✂️

Unfortunately the golden trophy has been mislaid, so James was presented with a golden bunch of bananas instead 🍌😆

Chris Lynn from Bluechip Brand Solutions Limited gave the ten minute presentation and spoke about some of the branding work he's produced over the last year 👏

Last night Jason Crown at WhataHoot hosted a charity quiz night and bingo event to help raise funds for our chapter charity Age UK Cambridgeshire represented by Melanie Pittock and Engage Norfolk represented by Rosemarie Fensome♥️

A lot of fun was had by all and we'll be posting photos and news from the event shortly.

A change of venue for our meeting today in Downham Market Methodist Church, whilst the town hall was in use as a polling station.

Thank you to the ladies there for their warm welcome, help and very tasty breakfast rolls 🤩

We had a fantastic meeting full of amusement as we each gave a 45 second pitch as if we were the person to our right. It's always a fun thing to do especially as it's never planned so we're all put on the spot! 💪

Another great meeting to end April yesterday morning 🌞

We welcomed Kenneth Tinglum, who is a BNI Trainer and independent nutrition expert, from BNI Norway. It was lovely to meet him. Thank you for visiting Kenneth! 🤝

Sara Kelly, one of BNI Norfolk's Director Consultants also visited. Following on from Kieran Harris' education slot about how to run effective 1-1s, Sara gave us two examples of how a structured 1-1 has been extremely important for business owners 🎯 Thank you Sara

Gary Shipp gave an excellent 10 minute feature presentation about the work of Lynnframe Ltd. If you need a conservatory, or the one you have isn't practical (too hot/too cold?) Gary is the man to speak to 👏

Robin Fearon won the golden Star trophy for his 45 seconds. Robin is looking for 5 men and 5 women over 40 for a fitness project coming up. Get in touch with Robin if you'd like more details ✅

Four visitors joined us for a great meeting on Thursday morning, as usual we gave them all a very warm welcome 🤝

They were able to see what a great group of business owners we have in the room, all referring business to each other 🤩

Helen Jane gave a fascinating 10 minute presentation, sharing how powerful food can be when tackling IBS and disease prevention, and how she can help ✅

Helen, along with Elizabeth, raised an amazing £770 for our Chapter charity, Age UK, by running the 5k inflatable course at Huntington Race course. The chapter as a whole has raised £1100 for Age UK including a raffle recently 🎯

Amazing. Well done all!

Jason Crown was the winner of the golden trophy for best 45 seconds. We are looking forward to hearing Jason's 90 seconds 🏆

We also heard from our Personal Trainer, Robin, who gave Elizabeth a great testimonial thanking her for the benefits of a session with Elizabeth's Theraplate at her clinic 👏
