UK Loggers

Welcome to the UK Loggers (UKL) official website. Home of the UK’s precision chainsaw competition circuit. Within its pages you should find the answer to any questions that you may have about the UKL along with any up and coming events/competitions.

The UKL started in 1995 and is an annual competition to determine the UK’s precision chainsaw champion. It usually takes place over 2 days and consists of 5 disciplines.

As the competition is organised by volunteers from within the UKL, the location changes from year to year to ease the burden. We are mostly funded by performing demonstrations at various county shows and are generously sponsored by many organisations. Every 2 years the UKL enter a team in the World Logging Championships( WLC).

The team consists of the 3 seniors and junior ( Under 24) that place 1st, 2nd and 3rd and 1st respectively in the UKL during a WLC qualifying year.
