ANTHONY GRANT
We, the family of the late Anthony Grant, beloved husband of Marie, Daddy, Granda, Great-Granda, father-in-law, brother, uncle and friend to many, wish to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks and appreciation to our family, friends, and neighbours and all who sympathised with and supported us during our recent loss.
We are deeply grateful to all those who sent flowers, food, mass cards, sympathy cards, messages of condolences, and to those who called at the house and shared beautiful and funny memories of Anthony. A special thanks to everyone who helped us in any way during this difficult time, and to all who came from near and far to attend Anthony’s funeral. Your kindness and support have been a great comfort to us during this extremely difficult time.
We would also like to thank all those who cared for Anthony including; Down Community Care, Ardglass Doctors surgery, and staff from the Ulster Hospital for their dedication and kindness to Anthony and the family throughout his illness. Words cannot describe how much we appreciate them.
Sincere thanks to Fr Peter O’Kane for the dignified and moving service he conducted, and to Bernie and Marty Campbell for the beautiful singing at the funeral mass. A special thanks to Curran's Chapeltown for the refreshments following the funeral.
We also extend our sincere thanks to everyone at Down Funeral Directors in particular Patsy and Stephen for their kindness, compassion and professionalism shown to us during this difficult time.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as an expression of our sincere appreciation to all.
Always in our hearts, forever in our thoughts - loved and missed every day from your sorrowing wife Marie, your children Martin, Lillian, Kate, Donna, Anthony, Terry, Marian, Gary and the late baby Patricia. Your devoted Grandchildren, Great- Grandchildren and family.
Anthony months mind will take place in St Joseph’s Chapel Killough, on Saturday the 25th April at 18.30.
St Anthony and St Joseph pray from him.
