HANNA Kevin, 73 Arkle Park, Downpatrick died peacefully Monday 1 June 2026 surrounded by his loving family at the Ulster Hospital, Dundonald.

Dearly beloved husband of the late Kate, loving father of Finbarr, Michael, Stephen, Sinead and the late Ciaran, cherished grandfather and great-grandfather, much loved brother and devoted father-in-law.

Kevin is reposing at his residence from 11am on Tuesday 2 June and daily from 11am to 10pm. House private on morning of funeral.

Kevin will leave his residence on Thursday 4 June at 9.30am for 10am Requiem Mass in St Patrick's Church with interment following in the family burial ground at Struell Cemetery.

Deeply regretted by his sorrowing sons, daughter, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchild, his brothers, sisters and entire family circle.

HYNDS Gerald, 1 Rooneystown Lane, St Patrick's Road, Raholp, Saul, RIP died Saturday 23 May peacefully at home after a long illness.

Dearly beloved husband of Margaret, loving father of Gerald, Geraldine, Lorraine and the late James, son-in-laws Gerald and the late Damien, daughter-in-laws Maria and the late Bernadette. Dear brother of Mary and Ann and brother-in-laws Patrick and the late Sean, nephews and nieces. A much loved grandfather and great-grandfather.

Funeral from his late residence, 1 Rooneystown Lane, Raholp on Wednesday 27 May leaving his residence at 11.15 am for 12 noon Mass in St Patrick's Church, Saul. Private cremation to follow.

ANTHONY GRANT

We, the family of the late Anthony Grant, beloved husband of Marie, Daddy, Granda, Great-Granda, father-in-law, brother, uncle and friend to many, wish to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks and appreciation to our family, friends, and neighbours and all who sympathised with and supported us during our recent loss.

We are deeply grateful to all those who sent flowers, food, mass cards, sympathy cards, messages of condolences, and to those who called at the house and shared beautiful and funny memories of Anthony. A special thanks to everyone who helped us in any way during this difficult time, and to all who came from near and far to attend Anthony’s funeral. Your kindness and support have been a great comfort to us during this extremely difficult time.

We would also like to thank all those who cared for Anthony including; Down Community Care, Ardglass Doctors surgery, and staff from the Ulster Hospital for their dedication and kindness to Anthony and the family throughout his illness. Words cannot describe how much we appreciate them.

Sincere thanks to Fr Peter O’Kane for the dignified and moving service he conducted, and to Bernie and Marty Campbell for the beautiful singing at the funeral mass. A special thanks to Curran's Chapeltown for the refreshments following the funeral.

We also extend our sincere thanks to everyone at Down Funeral Directors in particular Patsy and Stephen for their kindness, compassion and professionalism shown to us during this difficult time.

We, the family of the late Aiden Moore, wish to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks and appreciation to our family, friends, and neighbours who sympathised with and supported us during our recent loss.

We are deeply grateful to all those who sent flowers, food, mass cards, sympathy cards, messages of condolences, and to those who called at the house. A special thanks to everyone who helped us in any way during this difficult time, and to all who came from near and far to attend Aiden's funeral. Your kindness and support have been a great comfort to us during this extremely difficult time.

We would also like to thank all those who cared for Aiden, MacMillan Cancer, the District Nursing team, the carers from Lydian, the Marie Curie staff, and the NI Hospice staff for their dedication and kindness to Aiden and the family throughout his illness, words cannot describe how much we appreciate them.

SLAVIN John (Jonty), 34 Quoile Park, Downpatrick died suddenly Saturday 4 April at home.

Beloved son of Paddy and Monica, much loved father of Emma, Amy-Rose and Toni-Maria, grandfather of C**t, cherished brother of Mary, Monica, Geraldine, Pat, Timothy, Cathy, Anne-Marie, Jim, Tony and the late Terry and much loved uncle, great-uncle, brother-in-law and nephew.

John is reposing at his sister Cathy's residence at 14 St Dympna's Park, Flying Horse Road until 12.30 pm on Saturday 11 April when he will leave for a funeral service in St Patrick's Church at 1pm with interment following in Struell Cemetery.

Dearly beloved husband of Marie, loving father of Martin, Lilian, Kathleen, Donna, Anthony, Terry, Marian, Gary and the late baby Patricia, devoted grandfather and great-grandfather to his 35 grandchildren, cherished father-in-law, brother and brother-in-law and adored uncle to his nephews and nieces.

Anthony is reposing at his home with the family in attendance daily from 11am to 9pm until 10.45am on Tuesday 31 March when he will leave for 11am Requiem Mass in St Joseph's Church, Killough with interment following in the cemetery at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, Rossglass.

KILPATRICK James, 9 Priory Park, Belfast died suddenly Sunday 8 March as a result of a tragic road accident.

Dearly beloved husband of Nadia, cherished son of James and the late Betty, beloved brother of Colin and his wife Ashling, devoted father of Anna and much loved uncle of Alfie and Arthur.

James is reposing in the Chapel of Rest, Down Funeral Directors, 26 John Street, Downpatrick, BT30 6BY with the family in attendance to welcome visitors on Wednesday 4-8pm, Thursday and Friday 2-8pm and Saturday and Sunday 10am-8pm.

James will leave the funeral home on Monday 16 March at 9.30am for 10.40am Cremation Service in Roselawn Crematorium.
