We’re thrilled to announce the newest member of the Ollard & Westcombe Brand Ambassador team , Abi Leadbetter! 🙌🏼

Abi is a 20 year old show jumper from County Durham, who has competed in British Showjumping since she was 10 years old. After a very successful campaign in Juniors, taking her 148 Sean II from JD to JA and competing in the Pony Newcomer final at the Horse of the Year Show, she’s now enjoying seniors with her 2 own produced horses Hearts Cruise (Zi) and Navigator Scais (Carlos).

Since buying Zi as a 5 year old back in 2020 they’ve competed at numerous National Finals. They took the British Novice title back in 2021 and continued on to take 5 National Titles in 2023 including the Winter Bronze League Championship and 1.10m National Amateur Final. The pairing also qualified to compete at the Horse of the Year Show 2023 in the Summer Bronze League Final taking a very impressive 6th place at such a prestigious event.

Abi is also continuing to produce Carlos, after solely buying him as a 4yr old back in 2022 out of a field. She’s gone on to qualify multiple second rounds, Blue Chip Championships and took Champion Working Hunter at their first WH competition. The pair also won Richmond Equestrians’ Puissance in 2023 clearing a massive 1.45m wall in the final round.

Abi hopes to continue her success into 2024 where she will try to retain her title in the Winter Bronze League Final and compete in the Bronze League Final at the Horse of the Year show again hopefully for a higher placing. Whilst juggling her showjumping, she will be pursuing RIHS & HOYs Intermediate WHP qualifiers with Carlos and hoping to do some Eventing after taking two 100 Arena Eventing wins in 2023.
