I’ve heard entrepreneurs say this many times.

I’ve said versions of it myself.
And sometimes it’s absolutely true.

We work hard because we want security. More opportunities. A better future for the people we love.

But I think there’s another question worth asking:

Is my family getting the best of me… or what’s left of me?

We need to remember that providing for the people we love and being present with them are not always the same thing.

There will be busy seasons and there will be sacrifices.

The danger is when one busy season quietly becomes five years.

Your business can give your family an incredible life.

Just make sure building that life doesn’t take you away from the people you’re building it for.

I’m heading to Liverpool! ✨

I’m so happy to share that I’ve been invited to speak at the Global Women Leadership Summit 2026 this November.

Every time I step onto a stage, I’m reminded of why I started this journey in the first place.

To help people believe a little more in themselves.
To lead with confidence.
To grow without losing who they are along the way.

And this one feels particularly special because I’ll be surrounded by women from around the world who are doing exactly that — leading, building, challenging what’s possible and creating impact in their own way.

I’m looking forward to sharing my story, what I’ve learned along the way, and hopefully leaving a few people in the room thinking:

People often ask me... "Do you use AI in your coaching?"

The answer is yes.

But probably not in the way you think.

AI has helped me become more efficient. It helps me organise ideas, identify patterns, and spend less time on administration.

What it will never replace is the part that matters most: listening, understanding, building trust.

Creating those moments where someone sees a possibility they couldn't see before.

Technology can make us faster.

But it can't replace human connection.

And in coaching, that's where real transformation happens.

That's the perspective I shared in my latest Forbes Coaches Council article, alongside other coaches exploring the opportunities—and the risks—of using AI in professional coaching.

What if the business you worked so hard to build is actually keeping you from the life you wanted?

It’s a question worth asking.

I’ve met so many entrepreneurs who started their businesses because they wanted more freedom, more flexibility and the chance to do things their own way.

Yet somewhere along the journey, they find themselves working longer hours, making every decision and feeling like they can never switch off.

And I’ve had to question some of my own beliefs about what a successful business should look like, too.

We spend so much time learning how to become successful leaders. But how often do we stop and ask whether we're leading in a way that actually feels right for us?

Are we making our own choices, or simply following someone else's idea of success?

Some of the strongest professional growth I’ve experienced in recent years came from choosing to stay coachable.

The right mentor helped me sharpen my voice, strengthen my confidence, and expand how I communicate.

𝗗𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗟𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵, 𝗜’𝗺 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗲𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀.

We should never assume that someone who does not have children has chosen not to. Behind that reality may be miscarriage, infertility, medical challenges, loss—or a longing they have never felt able to share.

My own experience includes miscarriage and the inability to have a successful pregnancy. I share it now because these stories deserve space, compassion and understanding. Pregnancy loss can remain part of someone’s life long after the event itself, and no one should feel pressured to “move on” or pretend they are unaffected.

If you have experienced loss, please know that you are not alone. Your grief is real, your story matters, and you do not have to explain it to anyone.
