After creating the golden looking typographic design yesterday, I thought I would see how easy it would be to recreate my custom font from scratch in Blender. I went for a more brushed gold for this, and a mix of the more slabby and rounded letters. I think it came out alright.

As I was thinking about life, and in particular design, I was reminded of two different people talking about both. They both had similar point but about two different things. They can be summarised by the message in this graphic, which I have taken as my tagline: “Design, like life, needs purpose”.
I took inspiration from a few different places, but in particular from watching do wonderous things with text

Since updating my online presence I have been playing with different styles and concepts for my ‘brand’ (sounds so pretentious). Putting my own twist on the out of focus gradient, I made this test looping ident. It’s rough, but what do you think?
