Big scarify I did today . Time to get this done as most lawns are very mossy this year with all that rain in January /February . Taking b oolongs now but be quick as got a few in already .

Scarifying today . About a 2 acre lawn , 4 acres as go two ways , so was a hard days graft at this spectacular mansion near Alyth . Always a two directional scarify at this time of year . It was like walking on a sponge after all that rain in January/February , making a lot of lawns very mossy . A few picks here to let you see what comes out , but now done , air and water will pe*****te into the lawn giving greener healthier looking grass for the months to come . A high nitrogen feed will be added and is recommended to help the grass recover . Always scarify to a depth to scratch the surface of the soil and not further .

Lawn Cutz will be cutting lawns in Newtyle , Meigle and Alyth all this week .

Hi folks still too cold this week , though I hear mowers on the go - it’s still freezing at night .
Next week though it’s time to cut grass as temps shoot up to where we want .
Grass cutting starts Monday . Newtyle first then Dundee then Alyth . All done next week .

I’m seeing some people cutting their grass .its still a bit early as too cold at night for the grass to recover causing yellowing . There’s snow forecast for Saturday and I assure you - you’re going to kill your lawn . 7/7 rule 7 degrees plus day and NIGHT . Then it’s time .
To all my customers , please be patient and yiu will have nice green lawns
