This Focus was booked in for a full service, but a few days before the appointment the customer reported a worrying knocking noise from the engine.

We went out to investigate and narrowed the noise down to the auxiliary belt system, which was producing a sound very similar to an internal engine knock.

Thankfully nothing too serious! The necessary parts were replaced and the full service carried out as planned.
