230 Auracast Headsets have just arrived!

These headsets are high quality over ear wireless headphones with built in Auracast receiver. Making them ideal for assistive listening, silent seminar and multilingual applications. They don’t work with standard Bluetooth so there is no point stealing them!

Good quality audio on an unlimited number of channels. The headsets scan for available broadcasts when switched on. You can then hop through one of up to 8 stored broadcasts closest to you. Move round a venue then re scan to refresh the channel list to hear a new set of broadcasts.

No licences, no frequency clashes, no interference with other RF users. Simple set up with plug and play using the Air Cast transmitters. The transmitters have XLR inputs and 3.5mm Aux inputs give great flexibility and ability to mix audio sources.

Now starts the task of un boxing, testing and casing the new stock. While we are doing that why not contact me for a quote for your next event.

Yesterday, the 22nd of Sept, we had 21 mic systems in use or in transit.
A total of 312 microphones. 117 wireless and 195 wired.
10 systems are going abroad and 11 staying in the UK.
10 different customers. (4 in England and 6 in Scotland).
3 different manufactures : Shure, Audio Technica and Sennheiser.
Not one hire was direct to an end client. There were all dry hired to other AV companies who trust us to provide the systems they need when they need them.

So why the cat? It just made me paws for thought...

Looking for a better video experience for your next online meeting, but without the expense of Crew, transport and a full VMix setup with multiple cameras costing £1000s?

Let us introduce you to the Huddly Crew, now available to hire from AVD.

The Huddly Crew is an easily deployed multicamera system that connects to your laptop via usb C and selected as your video source. The system then detects who is speaking through facial recognition and frames and cuts to the speaker. No sea sickness inducing pan and scan but a straight cut.

Let’s be clear it’s not going to provide anywhere near the kind of professional output you would get from hiring the full service, also available from AVD, but it’s a good first step to a more engaging online experience without blowing the budget.

Contact me for more details.

Huddly Crew brings TV and movie magic to your meetings! Powered by Huddly Director for engaging, immersive experiences.
