🌱🔥 's Riverside Recycling Centre has reopened today — weeks after a green waste fire smouldered there for a full seven days. Thousands of Dundee households were disrupted, and the smoke and odour caused real concern for those living nearby.

1939 - 2025

It is with deep sadness that we share news of the passing of our founder and much-loved colleague, Ian Hannah, who died peacefully on Friday.

Ian established the Scottish Quality Management Centre in 1989 and dedicated decades to helping organisations and individuals achieve excellence in quality, health, safety, and environmental management. Many of our clients and students will remember him not just for his expertise, but for his warmth, encouragement, and genuine care for the people he worked with.

A celebration of Ian's life will take place in Dunfermline, on Wednesday 20th August. Please contact his son, Kenny Hannah, directly for details, if you would like to attend.

Season's Greetings, everyone! As has become our custom, we donated our Christmas Card budget to a very worthwhile charity; this year helping the fantastic Go! Youth Trust reach their funding target to develop a bigger, better facility in town centre. Our own building will be closed from 3:00pm today (the 'real black Friday'!) and it reopens on Monday 6th January. Emails will be monitored for urgent questions. Thank you to all our clients and students for your support during 2024. 🩵
