Yesterday was a special day for Tailored Image when we facilitated training for 11 of our colleagues across all departments to become certified Mental Health First Aiders.

We are steadfast in our commitment to protecting the mental health of our staff, without whom this business simply would not exist.

Ahead of World Mental Health Day this weekend, our management team took some time out of their hectic schedules yesterday to attend a 'Five Ways to Wellbeing' workshop with Emma Weaver of Mental Wealth International.

In a fast-paced environment, it is so important to take time out to slow down and protect our mental health, and we look forward to sharing our learnings and advice across all departments.

What an honour it was to attend the Iarnród Éireann Irish Rail CX Awards yesterday in the hugely impressive Aviva Stadium.

Held in the week of the launch of Irish Rail's new uniform suite, it felt like a very fitting celebration of this wonderful organisation with whom we have developed an excellent partnership.

To have picked up Highly Commended in the Contractor category of the awards was the icing on the cake!

The awards themselves proved to be a huge talking point. We're always very conscious of how we manage the use of retired uniforms once a new wardrobe is brought into circulation, and in this case some of the previous garments were used in the manufacture of these bespoke awards! We were delighted to manage this process on behalf of Irish Rail given our shared dedication to sustainable practices.

Iarnród Éireann Irish Rail has proudly launched a landmark new uniform collection, curated and produced in collaboration with Tailored Image.

Our brief was to provide a comfortable, practical and durable uniform solution to over 2,000 uniformed staff across 144 stations throughout Ireland.

Working collaboratively, we have arrived at a uniform solution which has been received very positively from staff and customers alike.

Today marks an incredibly sad day in the history of Tailored Image as we wave our founder, Design Director, colleague and friend Celia Birt off into the world of retirement after 28 years with the company, 37 years in the clothing industry.

Celia’s impact on Tailored Image has been immense. Tailored Image was her vision and from humble beginnings her passion, work ethic and warm leadership qualities have helped the company grow to the success story we enjoy today.

We will miss Celia in so many ways: her warm, welcoming personality, her motherly approach, her ability to bring out the best in us. Celia’s eye for detail and pursuit of perfection have undoubtedly been massive contributing factors to the Tailored Image we see today. Her colleagues and customers alike have enjoyed her trust, guidance and dedication for almost four decades and she will be sorely missed by all of us.

Not one to court the limelight, Celia will hate this post as much as she hates getting her photograph taken. Her humility makes her even more endearing to us and makes her success story an even greater accomplishment.

So here’s to Celia.
