Not long to go until our 72-hour Spinathon for Buddy Bear Trust Conductive Education School

🚴 72 Hours - One Team - One Great Cause 🚴

Our team at Greiner Dungannon are taking on a challenging 72-hour non-stop Spinathon in aid of our charity partner Buddy Bear Trust Conductive Education School

We will cycle continuously for 72 hours, following a virtual journey to key customers across the UK and Ireland, all while raising funds for Buddy Bear's building projects and the fantastic work they do for their pupils and families.

Every donation, big or small, will help us get closer to our target and support this amazing local charity located less than 1 mile from our facility.

Meet some of the team (pictured) who are gearing up to take part in the 72-hour Spinathon challenge including our GM Paul Millar who is leading the way!

Two talented young players from Thomas Clarkes GFC are reminding you that the Greiner Community Fund opens today for the next round of applications.

At Greiner Packaging Dungannon we are committed to investing in our local communities. It has been encouraging to see the quality and diversity of applications received since the Community Fund launched, enabling us to support projects that align closely with our desired objectives.

Great to see the new goalpost retrofit in action at Thomas Clarke GFC this week.

Through funding awarded by the Greiner Community Fund, wheels have been fitted to the club's existing goalposts, making them much easier and quicker to move around the pitch.

What was once a manual and time-consuming job, especially during wet conditions, can now be done safely and efficiently by members of all ages, including youth players.

The Speedwell Trust Summer Scheme is centred on "connecting children with nature through hands on experience."

This summer, local children are enjoying an exciting new addition to the programme thanks to support from the Greiner Community Fund.

An underwater camera has enhanced the range of activities on offer, allowing young people to explore and discover the fascinating wildlife and ecosystems found within the streams and waterways at Parkanaur.

Today we visited the Speedwell Summer Scheme to see the underwater camera in action and witness the enjoyment it is already providing.

At Greiner, employee wellbeing goes beyond the workplace.

Over the coming days, our Health & Safety team will be distributing personal PPE home kits to all employees as a reminder to stay safe while carrying out tasks at home and in the garden this summer.

The key message of our campaign is "Think Twice”

Whether you're tackling DIY projects, gardening, or home maintenance, taking a moment to assess the risks can make all the difference.

It only takes a second for something to go wrong, but the impact can last a lifetime. By stopping to think before you act, you can help prevent injuries and keep yourself and your loved ones safe.

Employee Wellbeing has always been important to us at Greiner Packaging Dungannon, and we are delighted to have recently launched a comprehensive Wellbeing Programme in partnership with Incorporate Benefits LLP.

The programme brings together a range of initiatives focused on mental health, physical wellbeing and early intervention. It has been specifically designed to support colleagues at all levels and across all shift patterns.
