A fantastic achievement for one of our members ๐Ÿ‘

Huge congratulations to Saltmarine on securing five national awards across 2025 and early 2026, recognising excellence in growth, digital innovation, marketing and sales performance.

From back-to-back wins as Fastest Growing Used Car Dealer to being named Hyundai Sales Retailer of the Year, this is a standout year that reflects the strength of their team and continued ambition as a business.

Special congratulations to Michael Salt, Dealer Principal at Saltmarine and a valued member of our Chamber board. Itโ€™s brilliant to see this level of success recognised on a national stage, very well deserved.

A fantastic result for the whole team ๐Ÿ‘

A new report from the Northern Ireland Affairs Committee is calling for better support for small and medium-sized businesses across Northern Ireland.

Dungannon & South Tyrone Chamber has welcomed the report, particularly its focus on simplifying how businesses access support, funding and advice.

For many local businesses, the biggest challenge isnโ€™t finding support, itโ€™s navigating multiple agencies and systems.

At the same time, the Chamber has highlighted the importance of clear delivery, to ensure any new approach genuinely makes things easier rather than more complex.

Our President, Niall Maneely, has shared his response and what this could mean for businesses in the Dungannon area.

We are incredibly privileged to host a very special Lunch & Learn next Wednesday, 25 March at Connect Dungannon, in collaboration with First Steps Women's Centre, Dungannon.

This unique Human Library experience will welcome women from a range of nationalities and cultures including East Timor, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Mexico, Lithuania, Poland and more.

Itโ€™s an opportunity to sit down, listen, and engage in real conversations, to hear individual stories, ask questions, and learn about the lived experiences, cultures and journeys of migrant women within our community.

What is a Human Library?
The aim is simple but powerful. To build understanding.

By creating a safe space for open, respectful conversation, the Human Library helps to challenge prejudice, break down barriers, and encourage stronger, more inclusive communities across cultural, social and religious differences.

First Steps Womenโ€™s Centre has been delivering training and education for over 25 years, including ESOL programmes that have supported people from more than 23 nationalities. This event reflects their ongoing work to create connection, understanding and opportunity across our local community.

Dungannon Chamber welcomes senior Stormont delegation to Market Square

Today, Dungannon and South Tyrone Chamber of Commerce welcomed First Minister Michelle Oโ€™Neill MLA, Economy Minister Caoimhe Archibald MLA, Colm Gildernew MLA, and Pat Cullen MP for Fermanagh and South Tyrone to Connect Dungannon in Market Square for a focused discussion on investment, infrastructure and economic growth in the Dungannon area.

The meeting brought together members of the Chamber board and senior government representatives to ensure that the concerns, ambitions and practical needs of local businesses are heard at the highest level.

Chamber President Niall Maneely outlined the progress made to date and highlighted key issues currently limiting business expansion, including infrastructure, road improvements and the availability of modern office accommodation.

While Dungannon benefits from strong food processing and engineering sectors, the discussion also centred on broadening the townโ€™s employment base through growth in tradable services, helping to retain educated talent and attract new employers to the area.

The First Minister committed to progressing the issues raised, including facilitating further engagement with the Infrastructure Minister and reinforcing the importance of a joined-up approach to regional economic development.

It is important to us as a Chamber to bring decision-makers and local business leaders together, ensuring Dungannonโ€™s voice is heard clearly and constructively.
