✨Youth Entrepreneurship PEACEPLUS Project Concludes with the GR8 Hackathon✨

The GR8 Project, reached an exciting conclusion with the GR8 Hackathon, bringing together over 200 Year 8 pupils from across the region for an action-packed day of innovation, teamwork and creative problem-solving.

Working in mixed teams, the young people were challenged to tackle a real world problem within a fast paced, time bound environment. Throughout the day, participants demonstrated impressive creativity, resilience and entrepreneurial thinking as they generated ideas, collaborated with peers, and pitched innovative solutions to a panel of judges.

The GR8 Hackathon provided an engaging opportunity for students to develop essential future ready skills, including communication, critical thinking, leadership, collaboration and confidence. More importantly, it encouraged young people from different backgrounds to build new connections, celebrate diversity and work together towards shared goals reflecting the core values of the PEACEPLUS programme.

A huge congratulations to every pupil, teacher, mentor and partner who contributed to making the GR8 Hackathon such a memorable and inspiring success.
