Costa Costa COSTA - Community Organisations of South Tyrone & Areas Ltd is the Local Rural Support Network (LRSN) Policies & Procedures.

COSTA delivers the Rural Community Development Support Service (RCDSS) in the Dungannon & South Tyrone area (sub-contracted under CWSAN). The Rural Community Development Support Service (RCDSS) is funded by the Department of Agriculture, Environment & Rural Affairs (DAERA) - Tackling Rural Poverty & Social Isolation Programme (TRPSI). COSTA assists local community groups through a wide range of su

pport services including: training, facilitation, access, information, brokerage, consultation and assistance tailored to individual group needs.

Aims under the RCDSS are:

* Support for Community Planning.
* Support for Isolated Rural People.
* Support for Sustainability of Rural Villages.
* DAERA Rural Micro Capital Grant Scheme

COSTA provides on-going practical community development support - responsive to YOUR local groups needs. Rural Community Development Support Service (RCDSS) - What we offer:
· Grant Tracker / Funding Information Searches and assistance accessing grants.
· Comprehensive range of support, advice, guidance & information ideal for C.D. groups.
· New Group start-up support & facilitation.
· Training: Governance and Management Committee Skills. Capacity Building, Training, Workshops, Information Sessions. Best Practice Visits, Networking, Events, Meetings.
· Project Development Support - guidance on fundraising, accessing funds and grant application assistance.
· Access to GrantTracker & Funding Databases. Access to NISRA / NINIS, Statistics.
· Regular Newsletters, Mail-outs, Email-outs, E-Sheets. Facebook updates, COSTA Website.
· Resource Library, Equipment Loan. Office Services - photocopying, fax and e-mail service.
· Community Audit assistance, Needs Analysis, Action Plans.
· Representation of the rural community and sector at regional and local levels.
· Consultations & access to Policy.

News | Innovation is helping businesses across Northern Ireland grow!
160 micro and SME businesses are planning to invest £3.6 million in innovation thanks to our Business Innovation Grant (BIG). 💡
Since launching in November 2024, BIG has helped businesses develop new products, services and processes, boosting productivity and supporting growth ambitions.
One company benefiting is Equipple, whose funding helped commercialise its parent-teacher engagement platform and secure its first sales in England and the UAE. 📈
Applications for the next cohort are now open until 12 noon on 4 September.
