Join us at 9.45am on Saturday as piper Craig Campbell welcomes visitors into Castle Gardens, before Scotland's National Chef Gary Maclean officially opens the very first Taste Dunoon Food & Drink Festival at 10am.

Help us give Dunoon's newest festival a warm welcome, and be part of the opening celebrations.

🌿 About the Dunoon Rhubarb Festival 🌿

From GoYo to the Curios Crow, and round the corner to Dae it Yersel, local businesses are joining forces for a delicious day of rhubarb fun for the Dunoon Rhubarb Festival on Saturday, 25 July.

Come along and celebrate our town, our street and our local food and drink culture through one tasty ingredient, rhubarb.

Dunoon Rhubarb Festival 2026 is hosted by Dunoon Goes POP, the heritage-inspired soft drinks brand run by POP shop enterprises CIC on Hillfoot Street.

The festival is part of the Taste Dunoon - Food and Drink Festival by Dunoon Presents

Are you interested in heritage, community and social enterprise? Join the POP shop team as Project Coordinator for our exciting new project.

Convalescent Coast brings together people, place and pop! Funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund – with thanks to National Lottery players – the project will explore Dunoon's Victorian heritage through community research, oral history, heritage walks, interpretation and soft drinks making.

We are looking for someone to take on this new part-time role to help develop and deliver the project with us.

Good to know:
👉This is a part-time, 16-month fixed-term role based at the POP shop in Dunoon.
👉Hybrid working will be available by agreement.

Who are we looking for?
👉 Do you have an interest in community-based work?
👉 A passion for people and heritage?
👉A desire to put your communication and digital skills to work in a project like this?
