Join us for our Private View of our next exhibition STONE on Thursday 12th March, 6-8pm.

Wightman Gallery presents the first joint show of renowned artists and stone carvers Michelle de Bruin and the Cardozo Kindersley Workshop.

STONE invites audiences to engage with this ancient craft and celebrates a practice that requires diligence, intense focus, and attention to detail. In contrast to many items in today’s disposable world, this artistic process sheds light on the importance of the discipline as a symbol of permanence, traversing through past and present; through the numerous ecological, cultural and artistic lenses.

I am closing the doors of my Marchmont studio for the last time. Farewell to Hugo and all the happy moments and dreams that he inspired.
