Another cake from last weekend! A gardening themed cake for a 70th birthday. This was a vanilla buttercream cake with a sugar carrot patch and a fondant cabbage patch, two plant pots filled with chocolate buttercream and fondant plants, all topped off with Oreo ‘soil’. I love how it turned out 🪴

*IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT*

After 3 years, to the day, it’s time to say goodbye. Due to an upcoming career change I will not have the time to fulfil this business, even on a part time level. I have loved every bit of the last 3 years and I never thought I’d make as many cakes as I have. So all I can say to my customers and those who have supported me/ recommended me, is thank you!

I will be keeping my Instagram page open to showcase my work, as I will still be making cakes for family and friends only, but not for business purposes.

💕 A gin themed red velvet cake accompanied by 10 cupcakes 💕

This was for a customer at the weekend! It’s a red velvet sponge with vanilla buttercream, buttercream swirls, mini gin, party rings, lindors, meringues and sprinkles. Complete with a personalised cake topper. The cupcakes are simply plain sponge with two-tone vanilla buttercream and white pearls. I love how simple but effective they are 😍

A cake for my most regular customer! I was so pleased to make my 6th cake for them. I made my first one for Sophie’s 13th birthday last year and I just love making their cakes!

I am in love with this cake 😍 it’s a plain sponge cake with vanilla buttercream, sugar pearls, buttercream swirls and these beautiful butterflies 🦋 I definitely think I hit the theme of purple, white, pearls and butterflies!

Christening cake 🕊

This is a plain sponge cake with vanilla buttercream, a fondant cross, sugar pearls and topped with fake flowers, mini meringues and a personalised cake topper.

His and hers 💕

These are two cakes I made for my brother and sister in law, who both unfortunately missed out on their thirtieth’s due to lockdown/ covid. It was my brothers surprise 30(+2) party on Friday and the theme was black and gold. I think I definitely nailed it! And he got a bottle of Jack Daniel’s out of me too! It’s a plain sponge cake with black chocolate buttercream, white chocolate drip, buttercream swirls, gold dusted Oreo’s and chocolate buttons, gold pearls and sprinkles, edible gold leaf and a personalised cake topper! As well as loads of cupcakes (I forgot to take a photo of 🤦🏼‍♀️) for the party 🧁

Then as a little side surprise for my sister in law, I made her a cake too as I had bought all the decorations. Even though the party was for my brother, she loved it regardless! It’s a plain sponge with vanilla buttercream, pink buttercream drip, rose gold dusted mini brownies and chocolate buttons, mini cookies, edible rose gold leaf, rose gold sprinkles, mini Malibu and a 30 cake topper!

Am I not the best sister/ sister in law ever? I can also assure you they are not alcoholics 😂

A PS5 cake for a regular customer! I love how every time, I’m challenged to do something I’ve never done before and I continually learn and develop my baking skills!

It’s plain sponge cake with vanilla buttercream, topped with fondant decorations and a PS5 controller made from Rice Krispies and marshmallow, covered in fondant.

Obsessed with this baby shower cake I made for the weekend 😍

It’s a plain sponge cake with vanilla buttercream, in a blue ombré style, gold leaf, blue swirls, mini meringues, fondant stars, gold pearls and white and gold sprinkles. Complete with a handmade fondant elephant and a gold cake topper!

This was accompanied by 24 cupcakes, 12 with vanilla buttercream and 12 with chocolate buttercream. These were decorated with fondant topper, sugar feet and sprinkles.

They were greatly loved by all!

Another cake from the weekend!

Also for a 40th birthday but this time Liverpool and New England Patriots themed. It’s a vanilla cake with chocolate drip and swirls, topped with milk and white chocolate buttons, maltesers and gold sprinkles. I love how effective drip cakes are and they’re extremely versatile design wise.

Another happy customer! ☺️
