Homebred brothers out in action this weekend at Askham Bryan BE Horse Trials with a 9th place for Faramir in his section, an unlucky last pole sj cost him the win but it was a win for Frodo Baggins & Mia Simblet in their section, which brings the 2026 eventing season to a close. It’s been a great season of starting the boys in their eventing careers with some good results. Next season we will hopefully see the young mares out starting their careers too.

It’s so lovely to receive photographs of clients and their horses enjoying being out and about competing as Autumn 🍂 approaches. Young Aaliyah & Astro enjoyed showjumping at the weekend in their Saddle Company close contact jumping saddle, Astro is a young pony who is still maturing, thankfully his saddle can be adjusted as he develops and matures as it is fully adjustable - the beauty of the versatility of this range!

We also can’t miss this pair out on their adventures as we added a lovely bespoke nameplate ‘Aaliyah & Astro’ to the cantle of their saddle! ❤️
