Utility bills eating into your profits?
Hospitality businesses have very little choice about using energy. Fridges need to stay cold, kitchens need to operate, and customers need comfortable premises, but that doesn't mean there aren't savings hiding in your building.

βοΈ Keep fridges/freezers maintained and seals in good condition, keep them topped up but not overfilled.
π₯ Don't light/heat empty areas/rooms unnecessarily, can you seperate areas on your lighting/heating circuits?
π¨βπ³ Review when ovens and extraction systems are switched on and off. Are you running them excessive periods of time before service?
π‘ Switch unnecessary lighting off in unused areas such as corridors, staff room, staff toilets, turn lights off after use or install sensor lighting?
π Monitor meter readings and investigate unexpected spikes, provide your supplier with regular reading even on a smart meter, check your bill is using acurate reads.
π Know your contract end date and you can start shopping around months beforehand. Prices change very quickly so uf you get a good deal lock it un dont wait.
