We’ve taken on some short-dated stock from another local store and we’re turning it into something deliciously useful.

To help reduce food waste, we’re offering £5 Mystery Bags for collection tomorrow or Saturday — each one packed with local products worth at least £12.

All items are still perfectly tasty and good to eat, just past their best before dates. Think pantry treats, sauces, snacks and more — no two bags are the same.

We’re thrilled to share some fantastic news for fellow local businesses in Durham!

The City of Durham Parish Council has just launched a Business Events Grant Fund — and we couldn’t be more excited! This new initiative offers up to £500 in funding to help businesses like ours host one-off events that bring more life, energy, and footfall into our amazing city.

As a business that loves being part of the Durham community, we know how powerful events can be for bringing people together and showcasing everything our city has to offer. Whether it’s a pop-up market, a tasting night, a creative workshop, or something totally new — this grant is a brilliant opportunity to get creative and connect with more people.

Huge thanks to the City of Durham Parish Council for supporting local enterprise and helping to make Durham an even more vibrant place to live, work, and visit.
