This dynamically developing company is looking for a candidate for the position of Logistics / Procurement Coordinator, at our headquarters in Aberdeen. The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
Carry out all supply chain Operations
Promotion of positive HSEQ culture
Organise and manage inventory, storage and transportation
Carry out periodic stock takes
Analyse and optimise logistical procedures
Ensure the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments
Ensure all owned and hired equipment is calibrated, certified and paperwork is filed and available as per requirements
Produce and manage re-certification schedule
Communicate effectively with Clients, Suppliers and Operations Team
Ensure all documentation is accurate and complies with procedures, and relevant legislation
Understand and work to Procurement Procedures
Understand and manage Business Suppliers
Ensure best value for money for business
Monitor Suppliers on time, and quality of delivery
Work to tight deadlines as per Client requirements
Essential skills
3 + years of experience in logistics in the Energy Industry
Driven by Client satisfaction, both internal and external
Excellent communication skills
Able to work to tight deadlines
Team Player
Attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Working knowledge of documentation required for mobilisation of equipment to North Sea and overseas installations
Dangerous Goods Transport Certification
Experience in operating Stock Management Software
Forklift Driver Qualified
