40,000 new PIWI vines planted for our Charmats - that’s how much we believe PIWI grape varieties are the future of English viticulture.

These varieties are perfectly designed for the UK climate and give
us more colour, more flavour and more aromatics than the varieties you’re used to drinking.

Naturally disease-resistant, they require less intervention in the vineyard, so they not only taste great in the Charmat, they’re also more sustainable. Good huh?

Representing the best of each vintage, Silex is continually evolving in style and shows some of our most experimental techniques.

Majority aged in second fill oak barrique for texture and character and with the addition of Chardonnay from our concrete egg.

Silex shows bright lemon curd and white peach tones, with a soft and slightly waxy palate of layered citrus and orchard fruits.

We've got extra-tasty goings on for you this coming Flint Sunday.

That wine in a clear glass bottle we've been teasing you with will be here for you to buy. Plus, in addition to street food vendors, Flint Kitchen will be open serving Greek-inspired street food, including: Slow-roasted lamb, date syrup & dukkah, with Greek salad & flatbread; Z’taar grilled chicken kebab, pickled chillies, Greek salad, flatbread; and Walnut & honey cake with Greek yoghurt.

See you here from midday this Sunday, no brollies needed (we hope).
