East Grinstead Community Shredding Day – What a Result! ♻️

Following our successful Community Shredding Day on 10 October, S4B Group is delighted to share the fantastic results from the event!

Thanks to everyone who came along and supported us, we achieved some impressive results:

📄 2,465 kg of confidential paper securely shredded & responsibly recycled
💻 374 kg of IT equipment destroyed
💧 6,532 litres of water saved – equivalent to around 80 baths
⚡ 986 kWh of electricity saved – enough to power a typical UK household for almost five months
🌍 100 kg of CO₂ emissions saved – equivalent to driving approximately 350–400 miles in a typical petrol car
🌳 Environmental benefits equivalent to four trees!
🔐 Peace of mind that personal data is not getting into the wrong hands - Priceless

It was great to welcome local residents and businesses, demonstrate our secure shredding process in action, and raise awareness of the importance of responsible recycling and secure information disposal.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the day such a success! 🙌

S4B Group Shredding Day
📅Saturday 10th October

Come along to S4B Group (behind the Jubilee Centre) on Charlwoods Road, East Grinstead, RH19 2HL

There will be signs directing you around the back of the Jubilee Centre as we will be using their carpark for the queuing system from Charlwoods road entrance and then once you have dropped off you will exit via Durkins Road.

What we can accept: ✅
- Paper
- Cardboard
- IT Equipment (office based items)

Our team will be on hand to help you unload.

We look forward to seeing you tomorrow between 9am and 2pm!

Bring along your; Old Paperwork/ Documents for secure shredding and/ or redundant IT items for destruction such as: laptops/ hard drives/ PC's /Towers/ Old Phones / Tablets/ Ipads

ON THE DAY: Follow our directional signage for our one way system - Drive in via the Jubilee Centre car park, round the back, and then you will be able to drop off in our yard, with the assistance of our team who will help unload and drive on. - Simples.
