This massive 6m+ X 6m+ room in a fantastic property in Strathaven was last weeks challenge. The carpet to go down was 5m wide, a relatively light material per sq m thankfully but given the size of it not a light easy lift. Also considering the only possible way in was a first floor window as the house was like an escher painting.

Other than a few creases from a failed carboard tube (too thin) which will fade over time. I was really happy with the job and more importantly the customer was very happy. They mentioned how the join was undetectable not always 100% possible but this this style of loop its joins very very well.

Lovely plush carpet and tredaire luxury underlay on this double turn stair in Glasgow today. Very happy with it. Cant beat good customers, who are happy to pay for a high standard of work. Makes my job a pleasure to do.

Done a Runner 😱 🏃🏽 🛠️

This stair runner from CJ Carpet Binding was a pleasure to fit, the finished result looks great against my customer’s painted concrete stair.

Each gripper rod was plugged and screwed, yes it could have been spray glued but my technique means maximum security keeping this carpet in place for its entire lifetime. 💥 👞

Stairs experience a battering, you really want to make sure they’re done right but hiring an experienced carpet and flooring fitter to properly install leaving you with peace of mind.

Slate effect supplied and fitted in East Kilbride recently. Entrance through to the kitchen and a small storage cupboard, seamless fitting throughout the ground floor.

LVT is my current favourite product to fit, it’s high quality, durable, and usually a better options than laminate.

As a very proud family man, and overly sentimental at times I had to capture this when I seen these little dusty footprints from this customers little boys feet padding around in screed dust on an evening of an unfinished job, enjoying the novelty of the new floor no doubt as we all secretely do until it becomes a new tiny part of our lives, I found it so sweet..

This stair runner was fitted in a lovely little house in the southside of glasgow, it was from Dunelm it was brutal to cut similar to siesel carpet. Ruined my knuckles

Happy with the finish. Most stairs dont gradually turn at the bottom as this did ( may be hard to tell in the photo) but even a typical turn (4 steps at the top) will never match up unless you buy a bespoke runner. As the carpet at an angle on the tread will never match the set width of the runner on the riser that meets it. Stair rods are a great way to distract the eye from this, if you do decide to go with a straight shop bought runner.

We recently helped Playsport in East Kilbride renovate their PGA Coaching area. We think it looks great. Something a bit different, was a nice challenge and moving those rubber mats was not an easy task 😅😅💪💪
