As today is World Earth Day, we want to highlight all the things that we do as a company to help the environment:

1. We are a member of the ECO Stars Fleet Recognition Scheme, which is a scheme that aims to help fleet operators improve efficiency, reduce fuel consumption & emissions.

2. We use Highlander Security Shredding , Scotland’s largest independent paper recycling company who recycle 100% of our shredded paper which then gets sent to UK mills to be repulped and made into new paper and tissue products.

3. We encourage reusable bottles use and provide water stations where possible instead of bottled water to reduce single use plastic.

4. We are members of Business Energy Scotland, which supports businesses in supporting going green and tackling climate change.

5. We encourage staff to carpool when working events and put on transport where possible to try and cut down our carbon footprint.

Did you know that Security Scotland aim to be an eco-friendly company?

We take as many steps as we can to be as environmentally neutral as possible. One way we do this is by making sure that we recycle. Not only at our head office, but also operationally, encouraging everyone to bring reusable bottles where possible, recycle and to use any eco facilities provided by our clients.
