After a long, dry summer, your garden may need a little extra attention before the colder months arrive.

Now is a great time to:
🌱 Give lawns some care and repair any dry or bare patches
🍃 Clear fallen leaves from lawns, borders and gutters
✂️ Cut back tired perennials and remove dead growth
🌳 Check trees and shrubs for damaged or dead branches
🌷 Plant spring-flowering bulbs such as daffodils, crocuses and tulips

Some great advice I was given many years ago when my Mum was still with us was to not worry too much about making sure she was drinking 'water' when it's hot - just make sure she was drinking something - squash, juice, tea, coffee - anything to keep her hydrated. If they don't like water try something else!
