Today is the 13th Global Accessibility Awareness Day.
 
To mark the day, this month’s lunch and learn was delivered to us by Liam from . Liam gave us an insight into:
 
👉 how their collaboration with video game developers has helped to make games including FIFA, Son of Thieves and Minecraft more accessible.
 
👉 the free SpecialEffect DevKit that focuses on motor accessibility within game design.
 
👉 EyeMine: software that gives gamers eye-controlled access to Minecraft.
 
👉 their ground-breaking Eye Gaze Games website with a range of free games optimised for eye-gaze control.

The talk gave us a deeper understanding of the impact SpecialEffect has on the lives of the people they work with; helping them to access the games they love.
