this morning was mod 1 test for one pupil, the other pupil was just observing how the test works live .
Any how pupil who took their mod 1 test passed
Well done young man 👏👏👏

We were out on the roads practicing mod 1 and 2 .

Well, on Monday the 3rd I did a early lesson before closing road riders for the rest of the day to attend Dave’s funeral es**rt with 200 other bikers .
I knew Dave from my younger days , he always loved his bikes like many of us .
But sadly one morning while out testing a customers bike from his place of work he was involved in a RTA which took his life .
I hope he looked down from heaven on this day to see how much he was missed and respected by so many .

To his beloved wife / children and family from all of us bikers , it was a honour to es**rt Dave to the pearly gates to the stairway to heaven
May he rest in peace
Love and respect to all his family x

Well this morning we had a test in the east for a mod 2 , which the pupil successfully passed .
We then had to shoot over to the west which took us a hour to get to the west side for a mod 1 test .
Sadly that pupil fail due to the last hurdle where they knocked the blue cone over on the swerve manoeuvre because they fixated their eye on the blue cone instead of looking between the two cones.

You see what pupils don’t realise that when your feet are on the pegs , they will stick out a bit further than the pegs and it’s the tips of the toes, that clip the cone if you look at it.
Always remember the Bike will go where you look and if you look at the blue cone next to the red cone on the swerve manoeuvre the bike, will position itself towards that cone ..
The secret of not keeping the cone is to look in between the two red cones in the middle and the Bike will move to where you’re looking.
They will be booking to take the mod 1 test again .
You can be the best Rider ever and on test day anything can happen .
There is never a guarantee someone will pass ,
Yes I do feel for Any pupil who might not be successful on the day of a Test. Because like any pupil I want them to succeed well on a test day .
And I always say if they don’t pass, never give up on your dream keep going because one day in the future when they do have a full licence they will look back and say to themselves I’m glad I carried on .
Every single motorcycle rider started as a novice and by gaining a full licence that’s when you start learning how to really ride by taking all the knowledge and wisdom given to you by a experience instructor and remembering everything they taught you to ride safe and keep a look out for every given potential hazards to deal with and stay as safe as you can . The world is changing and with the volume of traffic on the roads it is critical or Motorcycle Riders have a sharp eye of their surroundings when riding
