Here's an uncomfortable truth about fire-resisting ductwork…

A system can be manufactured correctly, but if the tested specification isn't followed throughout the complete installation, its intended performance may be compromised.

Fire safety relies on everyone in the process understanding that the ductwork, joints, supports, fixings and installation details all matter.

There are some areas where shortcuts simply aren't worth taking. 🔥 Fire safety demands attention to detail.

In the event of a fire, ordinary ductwork can become a hazard. Fire-rated duct systems contain and resist fire spread - protecting people, property, and time-critical evacuation.

What happens when what's on the drawing doesn't match what's actually on site?

It's a situation the industry knows all too well. With fire-resisting ductwork, however, changes can't simply be improvised without considering the implications for the tested system and its required performance.

Communication between the relevant parties is essential to finding an appropriate solution while maintaining compliance with the specification.

Don't guess. Ask.

Our team is here to provide technical support when projects don't quite go according to plan.
