We’ve just published a new project showcase: EPDM Lined Wildlife Lake – Fairwater Project

Fairwater Ltd transformed a 7,000m² irrigation reservoir at The Wildwood Estate in the Surrey Hills into a sustainable wildlife lake, using our EPDM liner to provide a durable, flexible, long-lasting waterproof solution.

Pond liner failures usually start under the liner

One of the most common causes of pond liner failure isn’t the liner itself — it’s what’s beneath it.

Sharp stones, uneven ground, and poor base preparation can all lead to premature damage over time.

Best practice for professional installations:
✔ Always use a quality underlay
✔ Remove sharp debris and roots
✔ Avoid stretching the liner tight
✔ Allow the liner to settle naturally with water weight

A well-prepared base helps ensure long-term performance and fewer call-backs.

We were pleased to supply the liner and underlay for a natural swimming pool project in Swaffham Prior, Cambridgeshire, installed by Bombina Natural Swimming Pools.

The specification included:
• 1mm SealEco EPDM Boxweld - 110m²
• Skirt seamed separately onsite - 162m²
• Heavy duty white underlay
• Black underlay in the regeneration zone

⛳ Project: Boston Golf Course – Signature Pond Before the 10th Green

A fantastic transformation has taken place at Boston Golf Course, elevating the 10th hole from a straightforward par 4 into a strategic and visually striking feature.

At the centre of the redesign is a 420m² pond lined with our SealEco EPDM, chosen for its durability, flexibility, and long-term watertight performance, expertly installed by Morgan Abbott, owner of ABBCO.

Project Highlights:
• 420m² pond constructed using SealEco EPDM
• Expert installation by Morgan Abbot (ABBCO)
• Bunker reshaped and repositioned to frame the approach
• Excavated material reused on-site for sustainable contouring
• Native planting added to strengthen local biodiversity

Chertsey Nursing Home Pond Transformation 🦆✨

A fantastic installation by Tatsfield Aquatics, using our 1mm Greenseal EPDM liner and underlay!

Originally a small, shallow, and leaking pond, the site at Chertsey Nursing Home has been completely transformed into a stunning 35m x 35m landscaped pond. The liner was supplied in four sections, expertly welded onsite for a seamless, watertight finish.💧

This beautiful decorative planted pond now features water lilies, a central fountain, and is home to around a thousand goldfish and a few friendly resident ducks, creating a peaceful, nature-filled space for the residents to enjoy.🌼🐟

A brilliant result from Tatsfield Aquatics, and a great showcase of what can be achieved with SealEco EPDM liners. 💪
