We’ve seen candidates secure Civil Service roles after learning how to present their experience with confidence.
The difference often isn’t that they suddenly had more experience. It’s that they learned how to choose the right example, explain their own actions clearly and show the result.
When answering a behaviour question, don’t give the panel a long story and hope they spot the evidence. Make it easy for them to see how your example matches the behaviour they’re assessing.
That’s what we work on with candidates: turning real experience into clear, focused answers that show what they can do. And it’s why preparation matters. You may already have the experience. You need to know how to bring it to life in the interview.
