Glenfarclas distillery is a Speyside whisky distillery in Ballindalloch, Scotland. Glenfarclas translates as meaning valley of green grass. The distillery is owned and run by the Grant family, making it one of few distilleries in Scotland that are privately owned.

Despite the increase in the cost of Sherry casks over the years, Glenfarclas has maintained that their whisky is traditionally matured in sherry casks. Their whisky is described as having aromas of dried fruit, malt, nuts and honeycomb, although the strength of each can vary depending on the release you choose.
