On Monday I was sat on a train for about 9 hours. 🚉

Instead of reading a book I did some Google quizzes. 🤓

Here are some takeaways to help you with your website content:

☑ Avoid technical jargon or showing off how great you are.

☑ Explain how you meet the needs of your customer or solve a need they might have.

☑ Frame this in terms of helping visitors, to make the content more engaging and helpful.

☑ To achieve this, write in a tone that's confident, but not intimidating. Explain concepts in everyday language - unless your a scientist 👩‍🔬

☑ Tell a story to connect with your visitors.

☑ Share testimonials or videos from happy customers on your site, with them saying exactly what problem you solved.

☑ People won't be on your website for long, so make sure every second counts. Ensure text is easy read and it's simply to navigate.

When you were starting out, how did you know if you should use WordPress, Squarespace, Wix or get a custom coded website...?
