Doors Open Day at Norton Park: 10am-4pm, Saturday 26 September

🏫 Guided tours of the old school building - now home to 29 charities.

📽️ Rolling screenings of the 1950s short film, "The Singing Street", featuring traditional games and songs in our corner of Leith.

📜 Threadinburgh's Andy Arthur will give a talk about the cultural significance of The Singing Street.

Save the date!

Norton Park is taking part in Edinburgh Doors Open Days on Saturday 26 September, 10am - 4pm. Doors Open Days | Norton Park

We are a charity, providing office space to 29 non-profits, plus a meeting & events venue available to hire for local businesses, groups and organisations.

However, our buildings were once Albion Road (then Norton Park) School, as well as St Mungo's Church and Lockhart Memorial Church. There is rich history in these walls, and plenty of stories to tell!

We would love for you to join us on 26 September for guided tours, showings of the 1950s short film 'The Singing Street', a talk by Threadinburgh's Andy Arthur, and talks by the architect who converted the buildings in the 1990s.

We'll be capturing your stories on the day, but if you have any old photos or memories to share of the school or church, we'd love to add them to our archive.

After Storm Floris, it’s business as usual....our contractors are back on site today, pushing ahead with essential roof works at our conference centre.

But while we repair the building, we’re also thinking bigger. What should our business – and the space we offer – look like in the future?

As we plan ahead, we want to hear from Edinburgh’s third sector leaders:
- What do you need from your office and workspace?
- How can we shape the centre to truly support your work?

Complete our short survey by 5pm, Friday 8th August and help shape the future of our space: https://loom.ly/seT9nmg

As a thank you, you’ll be entered into our prize draw to win:
• 1 x £50 voucher
• 2 x £25 vouchers
(vouchers of your choice)

Thanks in advance and let's shape what comes next — together.
