Uncensored: a space for the discussions social media won’t host
What can consensual k.nk dynamics teach us about communication, trust, boundaries, & intimacy? Why are some expressions of sxuality considered acceptable while others are stigmatised?
This event explores the lessons that BD SM & k.nk communities have developed around consent, negotiation, self-awareness, & relationship-building, & how these practices can benefit people regardless of their sxual interests. Far from being a conversation solely about sx, we’ll examine how intentional communication, boundary-setting, aftercare, & mutual respect can strengthen all kinds of relationships. We’ll also explore the politics surrounding sxuality: who gets to define what is “normal,” how shame & stigma are produced, the role of media & social platforms in regulating sxual expression. By looking at k.nk not as something separate from society but as a lens through which to understand it, we’ll explore broader questions of identity, agency, community, & social acceptance.
This discussion will be hosted by Emily King, somatic sxologist, joined by her guest Miss Pamela Blonde, professional dominatr.x & sx workers rights activist.
Whether you’re k.nky, vanilla, curious, or simply interested in how culture shapes human connection, join us for an open discussion. Nothing is off limits. Everyone welcome.
Tickets include prosecco on arrival, alcoholic or non-alcoholic. There will be an opportunity to ask anonymous questions at the end of the event. Head to my bio to grab your space, £15 deposit required to book.
