From day one, working with HeyIT has been a genuinely great experience for us at Thomson Print. Whenever we have a problem, we get a clear, timely response rather than radio silence.

If it’s a bigger issue that needs more work, the team gets on with it and keeps us updated on what’s happening and where things stand. That mix of fast response and proper feedback makes a huge difference to how confident we feel about our IT.

If you’re tired of feeling in the dark about what’s going on with your systems, it’s worth speaking to HeyIT. Want that level of responsive, transparent support? Book a call with HeyIT today.

Another network install completed by the HeyIT team at The Edinburgh Combat Project 🛜

As they moved into their new home on Gorgie Road, HeyIT designed and installed a reliable network from the ground up.

We deployed a Ubiquiti Inc. setup, including a Cloud Gateway Ultra in the server cabinet and multiple WiFi access points throughout the gym to ensure strong, consistent coverage in an area with limited mobile signal.

A separate guest WiFi network was also configured with a login page, fully isolated from staff devices while allowing future marketing opportunities if needed.

A secure, high-performance setup built for both reliability and peace of mind.

Last year the HeyIT team took attended in the Brigantia by Elovade annual conference in York.

It was a great opportunity for the team to connect with industry peers, explore what’s next in the IT space, and bring back fresh insight into how we can continue strengthening the support we deliver to our clients.

Key topics included passwordless authentication becoming the new standard, and the growing importance of DMARC in email security, both areas that align closely with how HeyIT supports and protects client environments.

A big thank you to Alan Szlanga for the invitation, and to the Brigantia team for the excellent hospitality throughout.

Did you know outside of our usual IT related events, HeyIT also host business events in Manchester? We are proud to be able to host F**k Up Nights in Manchester. In business everyone always talks about the positives and post online any wins that they've had. But in reality for every win in business, there are ten setbacks that you never see or hear about. That's why we wanted to step outside of our comfort zone and host our own Fu**up Nights in Manchester. It's an event where we invite 3 entrepreneurs to share something that went wrong in business and why this was actually a good thing. From every mistake there's something to be learnt and it's incredibly powerful to be able to open up and share that with a room. We're bringing them back with the next one on October 15th from 6pm to 8pm in Manchester. Tickets are on sale now, drop us a DM and we will send over a link for you to get a seat at this event!

The help desk at HeyIT has been brilliant for us at Thomson Print. It’s genuinely one of the best we’ve worked with in all the time we’ve been dealing with different IT companies.

That level of support has been a defining change in how our business runs day to day – issues get handled quickly, and our team can just get on with their work.

If you want a help desk that actually makes your operations smoother instead of adding to the stress, it’s worth having a chat with HeyIT. Ready to upgrade your IT support? Book a call with HeyIT today.
