Tail wagging marquees for Southern Counties Dog Show.

We delivered a range of marquees once again, helping to create show rings, administration structures, a VIP Presidents Lounge and covered space for visitors. Our in-house team of expert marquee riggers efficiently handled logistics for the delivery, installation, and subsequent dismantling of the marquees across the show site.

Having worked in the construction industry, specialising in the delivery of technical drainage solutions for commercial and industrial sites, he brings a strong understanding of infrastructure and site logistics. Hello Cambridge!

We are delighted to have installed this beautiful, colourful and eye catching experiential placemaking display on Green Street. A huge thank you to Cambridge BID for sharing the video, it really brings it to life. Not only does it look fantastic to encourage shoppers, it also provides a cool background for TikTok videos and shade to keep people comfortable during the warm summer months.

🌟 Meet the Team 🌟

We’re back with our Meet the Team series, and this time we’re introducing Daniel Acford, Deputy Regional Director for Bristol.

Time with F&L: 4 years

Branch: Bristol

Where did you grow up? Bristol!

First Job? I worked in a garden shop

Dan brings over 20 years of invaluable project management experience within the temporary structure industry. Over the years, he has managed a broad range of events from large-scale festivals and shows to intricate graduations, awards ceremonies. Dan has also managed a number of temporary building installations, alongside our specialist team F&L Temporary Buildings, gaining a complete understanding of our diverse sectors. Dan currently supports our Regional Director Gary Ferguson in the day-to-day operations of the branch while nurturing and supporting the wider team, sharing his vast experience and cross sector knowledge.

Outside of work, he can be found spending time with his family and friends, eating out and keeping up with a range of sports, particularly his local rugby team, Bristol Bears. He also enjoys the outdoors, trying new foods and testing recipes in the kitchen, and getting stuck into a film or book.
