Many thanks to all involved in creating another great 4 packed days of action in the Foresty Arena at the 240th Royal Highland Show 2024.
Once again we are delighted to announce that the Scottish Poleclimbing Championships were sponsored by Scottish Woodlands and we would also like to acknowledge support provided to the arena from other companies including Ponsse UK, Fuelwood. ILH Groundcare, Gusharts, Kipper Hire, A. W. Jenkinson Forest Products, Lantra Awards and Snopeak Events . Making some noise at the side of the arena while creating some amazing wooden sculptues were our three amazing chainsaw carvers, Iain from Chainsaw Creations, Sam Bowsher Chainsaw Carving & Chainsaw Pete, while wowing everyone with their 2-wheeled skills, was 7 times British champion ScottWilson54, who joined us again and he brought along another British Champion Danny Stewart.
To bring the show to a close for us, it was great to welcome into the arena Simon Oldham, Technical Director of Scottish Woodlands, who joined Keith Campbell, Director of RHASS & Chief Steward for Forestry, Countryside & Lifestyle for the Scottish Poleclimbing Championship Awards Ceremony and thanks to Roberto Ricciuti for the photgraphs.
