Can’t stop writing poetry this week!! Did I mention I’m publishing my first anthology next month? ?? 🥰😬☺️ it’s called Shameful to Shameless and I’m f*cking proud of it as it’s the poems I’ve written over 20 plus years of recovery from a lifetime of addiction.. watch this space..

This is one i wrote earlier this week and it’s called -
Loveless Human 👇

At first
Your words fall like sunbeams
On shivering un-muffed ears
Gently heating skin
Tickling imagination
With swinging hammocks
And mountain views
And heart-shaped clouds
And dancers in the sky

At once
You take up breath
Occupying territory in war-torn hearts
Panzer relentlessness
Smoothing inhibitions
With coy finesse
And elephant tattoos
And urgent texts
And ma princesse

Next
Your mouth makes conquest
Going down on bells of tolling doubt
Engorging crescents into full moons
Muting questions with desire
And softest skin
And practised lips
And dazzling vampire

Then
Your frequency goes dead
On allied prisoners refusing to accept
Their chutes are filled with lead
And hoarded cadavers
And an orange skull
And cut out tongues
And bloodied hearts

👇Soul Contracts 👇
A poem by moi.

Some souls meet in maths
Knees dusting virgin lust under desks
Recognising one another from a hundred years ago
Locking eyes with familiar, nervous warmth

Some find each other in moonlit gardens
Brushing lips by rock goddesses
Cupids bow landing softly
As he lets his lovers know

Some souls collide in emptiness
Sensing each other’s magnetic toxic hole
Plugging in for enmeshed fuel
Clutching and sucking hungrily for supply

Some meet in softness and sunshine
On lakeside pontoons
Reflected mountains and ripples of forever
Lapping at their hearts and toes

Some explode into each other
As blistering scattered star seeds
Fracturing light and
Shattering glass in sliding doors

Some meet over avocados
Squeezing gently for ripeness
A trail of delicious, bruised fruit
Left dwindling across the years

Some fortuitously cross pollinate
Embedding their seed for our future
The universe yearning for their mix
Fertiliser for fresh star-crossed souls

Some force themselves on innocence
Like landmines dressed up as dolls
Swallowing generations
Stealing light and drowning life-force

Some meet in gentleness
Acorns morphing into oaks
Bending side by side in blended peace
Blossoming and weathering through stillness and storms

Some come just for whispered moments
Sparking eternal human echoes of softness
Twinkles in our eyes and souvenir reminders
That despite contracts, ALL souls long for love ❤️

Muddy Yoga 🧘‍♀️ at the top of a beautiful hill in

** Though the term Cathar has been used for centuries to identify the movement, whether it identified itself with the name is debated. In Cathar texts, the terms Good Men (Bons Hommes), Good Women (Bonnes Femmes), or Good Christians (Bons Chrétiens) are the terms of self-identification.

The idea of two gods or deistic principles, one good and the other evil, was a point of criticism asserted by the Catholic Church against Cathar beliefs. The Catholic Church asserted this was antithetical to monotheism, a fundamental principle that there is only one God, who created all things visible and invisible.

Cathars believed that the good God was the God of the New Testament, creator of the spiritual realm, whereas the evil God was the God of the Old Testament, creator of the physical world whom many Cathars identified as Satan. Cathars believed human spirits were the sexless spirits of angels trapped in the material realm of the evil god, destined to be reincarnated until they achieved salvation through the consolamentum, a form of baptism performed when death is imminent, when they would return to the good God.**

This time last year, I would come to Mirepoix Cathedral to tearfully pray for guidance, reprieve from guilt and for strength to keep faith that things would (in time) work out for my family in the most loving and positive way... now I sit here listening to the Priests at Lauds (Morning Prayer), my heart overflowing with peace, gratitude and joy, giving thanks for the grace that has been shown to us as a family and for all the heavenly signposts and beautiful souls who are loving and helping us along the way ....
