Just a wee update from us following on from the fire at Hopeman on Tuesday evening.

It was very scary to see how quickly the fire spread - from a wee smoulder to huge flames within minutes. It all felt a bit too close for comfort and it’s a miracle that things didn’t get worse. Glad to say Greenbrae and neighbouring properties all ok and most important everyone safe.

A big thank you to the emergency services and all those that helped to get things under control. Frustratingly, they were clearly hampered at times by the number of people in cars who came to take photos and record the blaze on their phones!

We love this little corner of Moray and it’s sad to see the damage done - but again glad that everyone OK.

New Monday evening sewing workshops coming soon with Rhona's Happymakes 😃

Join me for a relaxed, beginner-friendly sewing class .
It’s a chance to learn some basic skills, get creative, and enjoy a bit of time making something with your hands.

The class is suitable for beginners and anyone who’d like to build confidence with a sewing machine in a friendly, informal setting.

If you have a sewing machine, please bring it along. If not, you’re still very welcome to join.

A relaxed session to learn, make, and take home something you’ve sewn yourself.
