Black things are usually hot when the sun is out.
This is because the colour, black, absorbs all wavelengths of light and turns it into heat. Unlike the colour white, which reflect some of those wavelengths.
Despite our tints containing varying degrees of black dye, they are actually made to reflect those light wavelengths, there don't heat up and provide UV protection while travelling which can be particularly harmful to the wee passengers in the back. It also protects items from getting "bleached" by the sun, as well as providing a cooler cabin.
