MISSING BIRD HOUSE

Has anyone who was in over the weekend accidentally picked up this birdhouse that was strategically placed on its side amongst the growing wild raspberries??

It was placed there to help the fledgling birds hide from the dogs while they were gaining strength to fly but sadly it’s completely disappeared.

I know how it may have looked as though it can just been dropped there and I fully understand how your dog might have become interested in it and therefore possibly caused a little bit of a distraction but as no one has mentioned it I would just like to give whoever has potentially picked it up, the opportunity to let me know so I’m not not wondering if it’s been moved somewhere else that could cause an issue.

Mr Bones had to come home to Highland Hounds HQ today for a bath after some little bird had been having a wee party in his rib cage 💩😂.

But he’s back where he belongs now and in a new location so the hunt is on again for you to find him 😉.

Don’t forget to get pictures of your dog near him and post them here in the comments. But try not to give his location away too much 📸.

Woodland checks this morning were so lovely 🌳. The greenery 💚 has exploded over the last couple of weeks and despite the rain 🌧️ it’s absolutely glorious to see it all full and leafy (is leafy even a word? 😂).

All of Junes hours are now available on the system so be sure to book in so you don’t miss out 😀.

I’m back to work as normal on Tuesday after another fantastic trip away to see my favourite Disney dog 🥰.

June is already filling up quickly but there is a cancellation on Tuesday (4pm) if you are looking to get in.

Looking forward to seeing all my regulars too, I’ve missed all their wee faces 🐾♥️.

It’s SO spring like 🌿🌸🌱🌼 in the woodland this morning, I absolutely love days like this when the whole place starts to feel different 🥰.

There’s still a couple of spaces available on Thursday if you would like to get in and check it out for yourself 🌳🐕🌲.

I had a rare opportunity this morning of just sitting at the cabin while some customers walked their little dogs around and while I was writing an email to a customer I could hear some scurrying around. I was surprised to see this guy 🐿️ helping himself to the bird feeder ❤️. I’ve only ever seen a squirrel once before in the woodland so I know that is a fairly recent things that this guy is getting brave enough to come in when there are dogs around. He did disappear as soon as he saw the dogs so don’t worry, he’s not going to hang around and wind up the dogs 😂.

We have had an update on our Sponsorship for Guide Dogs UK. We have been sponsoring Jack for a while now and his latest update has told us that Jack has unfortunately been taken out of the programme. That’s ok, we all know that Guide Dog training isn’t for all dogs and Jack is entitled to live the life he wants. We know you tried Jack but being a guide dog for the blind wasn’t destined for you. Maybe come live with me 😉😂.

So Guide dogs have now allocated us Henry 💙. I’m excited to see how his training goes and learn more about him.
