Founded in 2010 but converted to a limited company in late 2015, we have a strong team of time served fully qualified electricians with decades of experience in the electrical field. We pride ourselves on doing top quality work and leaving premises in a clean and tidy order. All staff are CRB checked to fulfil our obligations in the schools, colleges, universities and hospitals we work in. We are also NICEIC approved and City and Guilds qualified contractors, a Texecom accredited installer and TrustMark Tradesmen to give you added confidence when choosing from electricians in Halifax. The Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme is closed to new applications, with no further investment confirmed beyond already-awarded projects.

For schools, NHS sites and councils, that changes the route rather than the goal. Phased delivery within existing capital and maintenance budgets. Business cases built on whole life cost. Private finance where the numbers work.

Two bedrooms, a bathroom and a walk in wardrobe. No moving vans required.

A full loft conversion fit out, done in two visits. One day first fix, one day second fix.

New FuseBox consumer unit fed from the mains in the cellar, RCBO protection on every circuit and surge protection fitted. Then lighting, sockets and extract ventilation through the new rooms.

Proper labelling on the board too, so whoever opens it in ten years knows exactly what they are looking at.

A lot of extra house for two days on site 😉

The battery is doing a lot of the heavy lifting here. Animal welfare sites never switch off, so there is a real load to cover through the night, and storage is what turns daytime generation into round the clock savings.

Five roofs, one system, and a five year payback on money that now stays with the charity.

Five questions to ask before you sign a commercial solar quote:

1. Has anyone actually been on the roof?
2. Is the yield modelled on half hourly meter data or an estimate?
3. Has the DNO application been built into the programme?
4. Who owns the O&M and warranty claims in year six?
5. Is the installer MCS and RECC certified?

A good contractor has all five answers ready 😉

The cheapest quote is a forecast, not a price.

Three things worth checking before you compare commercial electrical quotes:

What has been surveyed rather than assumed. What happens to the cost when the programme slips. And who is actually doing the work on site.

A quote well under the others is telling you something. It is worth working out what.

Amendment 4 to BS 7671 was published in April 2026, and the previous version is withdrawn on 15 October.

Four headline changes: a new chapter on stationary secondary batteries, new provisions for ICT earthing and bonding, a new section on Power over Ethernet, and a major revision to Section 710 for medical locations.

If you are scoping electrical works for delivery this autumn, your specification needs to reflect it. We are NICEIC and NAPIT approved and already working to Amendment 4.

Maintenance visit to truGym in Huddersfield.

Lamps replaced, routine repairs sorted, and a new TV mounted on the wall.

Gyms are one of the hardest working buildings there is. Sixteen hours a day, seven days a week, constant footfall and equipment on the move. Lighting that would last years elsewhere burns through its hours quickly, and a dead lamp over the free weights is a safety issue rather than a cosmetic one.

Planned maintenance catches all of that in one visit, instead of a string of emergency callouts at the worst possible time.
