Hello!!
What a journey the past few weeks have been. As I’m sure most of you are aware I suffered from a subarachnoid haemorrhage at around 10.30am on the 9th November.
After a fight with actually getting to hospital (absolute nightmare unless you’re not breathing, an ambulance was never actually despatched to me after numerous 999 calls) I finally arrived at the Royal Shrewsbury at around 3pm. Thanks to my sister Charlotte, my wife Kim and my brother Chris who made this happen. Following numerous encounters with doctors, nurses, having bloods taken, various tests and finally a CT scan. A decision was made to blue light me to The Royal Stoke at around 8.30pm.
By 4pm on the 10th November I had received two brain surgeries including an EVD (a drain to take the excess CSF and blood from my head) and coiling to stop the initial bleed. Following the surgeries I spent a week in CCU then a further week on the neurological ward where my recovery really began.
I have now been home since the 24th November, I am recovering well although I have frequent spells of dizziness, short term memory loss, headaches and fatigue (all very normal given the circumstances).
I would like to thank all of my current and past customers. You have all been amazing and understanding. All of my get well wishes have been very overwhelming - thank you.
As soon as I have been given the all clear to work and drive I will be in touch.
Finally I would like to thank all of my family and friends. You have all been amazing from my sister setting up a Go Fund Me page to ease financial stress (please share this message so people can see my appreciation) to everyone that has rallied around to give us a kitchen for Christmas. You have no idea what this means to us and our family. ❤️
I have purposefully not tagged anyone as there has been so many people involved over the past four weeks helping us in so many ways possible I did not want to leave anyone out. So this THANK YOU is for everyone. 🙏
