I offer an affordable, reliable and friendly service for the repair and restoration of antique and vintage mechanical clocks. I charge just enough to cover the cost of my hobby so overall I make no profit at all. My rates are considerably le

ss than what you'd be quoted elsewhere. For simplicity I have a short fixed price menu ( with some caveats) this will ensure you know in advance what you are committing to. I am not trying to compete with traders who rely on clock repairs / servicing to make a living; on the contrary, I have a huge respect for them, carrying on the traditional craft of centuries in modern times where labour is very expensive and a sound knowledge of horology is increasingly rare. I am simply trying to help Clock owners who cannot find a high street repairer to fix / service / restore a clock of modest value for a price the owner is willing to pay, because of the overheads these traders have to carry.
