On Friday night, ASL was proud to sponsor the Environmental Champion Award at the 9th Ely Hero Awards, a fantastic evening dedicated to recognising the individuals, groups and organisations who make a real difference across Ely and the surrounding communities. The awards have become a much-loved annual event, celebrating the people who quietly go above and beyond for others.
The evening was full of inspiring stories, community spirit and well-deserved recognition. We were also delighted to see an incredible £4,000 raised for Arthur Rank Hospice Charity, helping to support the vital care they provide to local families.
Representing ASL were members of our ESG team, including Aimee and Grace, who had the privilege of presenting the award, alongside Bethia, who was there supporting her deserving mum, one of the finalists.

The Environmental Champion category recognises those who are helping to protect and improve our local environment, and the passion and commitment shown by all the finalists was truly inspiring.
