We are sorry to see our Ely classroom out of action for the time being but we promise that we will be up and running again as soon as we are allowed.

There is no doubt that these are testing times for the aviation industry but we are thinking of our friends and colleagues around the world and we look forward to us all being back in the skies and crossing borders again soon. Stay safe everyone!

Last week was an exciting week as we welcomed our 8,000th theoretical student. As is customary here at AAT we marked the occasion with cake! Student 8,000 was Maverick Sultana and he was being taught the A320 (LEAP-1A) B1/B2 diffs from CEO by our instructor Alan Crerar. Here's some fantastic photos taken to mark the occasion and a big thank you to Lufthansa Technik Malta for being so accommodating, as always.

A little light relief in our classroom this morning when a fly decided to take over our C-Touch touchscreen! Just shows you that even with the most up to date technology the unexpected can still happen!

Alongside our usual type courses this week we have had lots of interesting Borescope Inspection courses and Engine Ground Run courses running. Here's some pics of Alan Crerar carrying out EGR on the A320 NEO (PW 1100G) in Amsterdam and Stephen Hill performing various borescope courses.

Our instructors often spend 6-8 weeks with their students when conducting a full type theory course. As you can imagine friendships and professional connections are made that can last a lifetime and that is why we love seeing course photographs. Here is a great one of Alan Crerar with his latest group of students at Corsair International in Paris, the students have successfully passed the theory element of the A330 B1/B2 course.
